The award ceremony for the prestigious Helmholtz Prize will be a special part of the seminar programme. The prize recognizes outstanding scientific and technological achievements in the field of precision measurement in physics, chemistry and medicine. First awarded in 1973, it is widely regarded as one of the most important distinctions in metrology. The prize is awarded in two categories: “Fundamentals” and “Applications.”
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 25 August, beginning at 14:00. Following the official ceremony, participants and guests are warmly invited to a champagne reception, which will be followed by a joint dinner.
