The aim of the 2nd International Workshop on Metrology for Virtual Measuring Instruments (VirtMet2025) is to discuss recent developments in the field of virtual metrology. The 1st International Workshop on Metrology for Virtual Measuring Instruments (VirtMet2021) was held as online meeting in September 2021.
The workshop will be held online and is free of charge.
The workshop is organized by the PTB's competence centre on Metrology for Virtual Measuring Instruments (VirtMet).
Topics include:
· Simulations, virtual experiments, digital twins in the fields of metrology, quality assurance, industrial application
· Example applications
· Sensors and methods for parameterization
· Software architectures for digital twins
· Validation, calibration and standardization
The workshop is supported by the European Metrology Network for Mathematics and Statistics (MATHMET) and by the European Metrology Network for Advanced Manufacturing.
