
Twisted Light (TL) fields and their quanta – the twisted photons – possess unique properties due to their controllable spin and angular momentum along the direction of propagation. The Workshop “Twisted Light in Nanophotonic and Quantum Systems” aims at reviewing the current status of optics and photonics that involves interactions of TL having pre-designed phase- and spatial structure with matter at the scales where the quantum effects dominate the interaction mechanisms. Coupling of TL with matter at a fundamental level, from atoms to molecules and to nanostructures will be considered.
